Billed as a great movie "To Die For", but as a patriot who voluntarily put myself in harms way 50 years ago, tieing the values and sacrifices Americans made to make this country great over the previous 250 years, to a unstable lunatic is incredibly insulting to me, and the traditional values America patriots are willing to die for.
The movie is easy to watch as a distraction to get away from a hard day, because I empathize with the main and central characters, which makes me feel less alone, in my longing to get America back on track to our core values, but I don't think it will change any minds. Unfortunate, but it clarified in my mind that there truly is a real fight worth fighting for to taking back what America once was.
I will make the effort to watch it again with others, that I care about, but don't think it will keep their interests, especially the young. I now understand why it's nessasary to train into Americans what's our core values are before we lose them. We need the pledge of allegiance, back in every aspect of America life, before we as a people no longer hold the values of this Constitutional Republic dear, and ceases to exist.

I thought your movie To Die For was great, I loved it. I have the greatest respect and admiration for our men and women who serve in our military armed serves and for the flag. The flag is more than just a piece of cloth flapping in the wind, it tells the story of how this country was formed and each and every soldier who fought and died for it. This movie spoke volumes to us. Young people today have no regards for the American flag or what it stands for. They need to play this movie in all the High Schools. Thank you again.

We watched the movie early the morning after getting it. I was glued to the movie, being a vet myself I understood the meaning and the feeling of being berated for flying the flag. I still stand for the pledge of Allegiance, would defend it at all cost. By the end of the movie my boyfriend had tears in his eyes.

John Sneider’s acting was decent. But the supporting cast not so much. I realize it was an independent production, but camera work was less than what I would expect. Story line okay, but a bit of a take off of Clint Eastwood and his Gran Torino.

I enjoyed the movie. Hopefully more people will watch it and see how close to home “art is imitating reality”. For a lot of us the world we grew up in doesn’t exist anymore and I have personally said this in the past. What’s left of any goodness and love of Country is slowly being eroded by extreme ideologies, political power and greed. Liberal politicians and media have convinced a majority of the population to abandon what was at the core of our country. Love of God, Country and Family. There are still those of us who still hold on to these principles. But it seems the more the extremism plays out the more these principles get drowned out and sooner or later we’re all gonna have a choice to make. Great movie and message.

It wasn’t easy I served as an MP/K9 at Ft Bragg seen a lot of angry vets who had to deal with an ungrateful nation of self righteous fools.
